    An established 30-year-old yet growing $150M+ technology company, with 200 employees in multiple states, based in Houston, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. The purpose of the position is to effectively support the Chief Financial Officer in driving many of our core business operations, particularly finance, forecasting, budgeting, engaging in cost reduction analysis and reviewing operational performance. The ideal candidate is collaborative, hard-working, driven, and quantitative, with strong analytical and operations skills.  


    • Assist in month-end close process working with Accounting personnel to drive consistency and timeliness across the organization
    • Responsible for Balance Sheet Reconciliation process
    • Assist with the daily, weekly and monthly internal and external reporting, including monthly board presentations and financial modeling
    • Prepare high quality management and financial presentations
    • Identify opportunities for improving financial performance by staying up to date and knowledgeable of industry trends and events that may impact business performance
    • Interface with external audit team and assist annual audit process
    • Maintain and organize accounting records ensuring compliance with current guidelines
    • Provide complex and occasionally highly complex financial analysis for a financial function or a business, typically exercising a strong understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.
    • Consult with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope
    • Forecast financial results within a broad scope
    • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engages in the design
    • Perform other duties as required and/or assigned

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
    • 5+ years of broad experience in accounting and finance discipline
    • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
    • Strong understanding of Revenue Recognition guidelines with focus on POC accounting
    • Thorough understanding of OTC, PTP and OTC processes
    • Previous experience performing Balance Sheet Reconciliations
    • Proficient in MS Office with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
    • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, Connectwise and Tableau or similar systems
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Skill in preparing presentations and materials for various levels of Management
    • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment
    • Handle sensitive information in a highly confidential manner
